As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislationDeliver evidence-based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual/patientDocument into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminologyCurrent Registration with AHPRA3 years' postgraduate experience as a Scrub/Scout NurseProven experience in a high acuity Perioperative Orthopaedic environmentWorking with Children check (if relevant)Commitment to Quality Patient CareCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsSound clinical decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamBasic computer skillsPost Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)About POWPH Come and join our expert team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and allied health professionals at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the 'Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses' and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024' (salaries range between $35.46 and $49.79 per hour).
