Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout | NewcastleAn excellent opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the established perioperative nursing team at a private hospital in North Newcastle. It's a permanent full-time role.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care;Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;Ensuring patient and staff safety;Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.REQUIREMENTS Current registration with AHPRA;Previous scrub scout experience;Excellent communication and customer service skills;Works well within a team;Basic computer skills;Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in North Newcastle, is an acute medical/surgical facility providing a range of clinical services, including rehabilitation, palliative care and pain management.
