Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout (Neurosurgery - Orthopaedics)Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care? Mount Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses for our Scrub Scout team.
Key functions include: Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures.Provide exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care.Provide supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates, students, and AINs/PSAs.Work as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team, managing own work time and personal well-being.Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes.Participate in clinical and compliance auditing.About You You will hold a minimum of 3 years' full-time scrub scout experience in orthopaedics and neurosurgery. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a thorough understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have AHPRA registration (essential).Have previous experience with Orthopaedics / Neurosurgery (essential).Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the perioperative complex.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.About Us Located near King's Park, Mount Private Hospital is Western Australia's leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU).
