· Rotating Shifts · Part Time 64 hours per fortnight · SS Orthopaedic Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Scrub Scout – Orthopaedic Procedures to join our team for the evening shift.
This role involves providing high-quality care in our general, emergency, or orthopaedic operating rooms.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare Key Responsibilities: · Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
· Assist the surgical team by scrubbing in, passing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon · Monitor and manage the sterile field to ensure patient safety and prevent infection.
· Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal care during general, emergency, and orthopaedic trauma surgeries · Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient information · Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Key Requirements; · Post grad study in Perioperative Nursing · Previous experience as a Scrub Scout, preferably in general, emergency, and orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
· Confident to liaise and support VMO's · Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures · Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
B · Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing situations · Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
