Registered Nurse - Post Anaesthetic Care Unit - Wollongong Hospital Provide holistic nursing care for patients immediately following an anaesthetic, surgery or procedure.

As the Registered Nurse working in the PACU, you are responsible for the provision of person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
You'll provide compassionate nursing care before, during, and immediately after surgery.
Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' conditions, planning and delivering nursing care for surgical interventions, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
You'll work closely with Surgeons and Anaesthetists, assisting them during procedures and monitoring patients' recovery from anaesthesia.
Essential Requirements: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Applicable vaccination requirements for a role.
