Registered Nurse - Post Anaesthetic Care Unit - Wollongong HospitalProvide holistic nursing care for patients immediately following an anaesthetic, surgery or procedure.

This role has various Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time positions available with varying hours and end dates.

As the Registered Nurse working in the PACU, you are responsible for the provision of person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes. You'll provide compassionate nursing care before, during, and immediately after surgery. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' conditions, planning and delivering nursing care for surgical interventions, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. You'll work closely with Surgeons and Anaesthetists, assisting them during procedures and monitoring patients' recovery from anaesthesia.
