The successful candidates will ensure optimal outcomes for residents/patients/clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care.Registered Nurses will work collaboratively utilising effective team communication with members of the multidisciplinary health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of resident/patient care. You will act as an advocate for the specific needs of all resident/patients/clients and carers including those from the indigenous population or other multi-cultural groups providing appropriate care to the resident/patient/client undergoing specialised procedures. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
