This is a permanent position working across a wide range of general and specialty areas including Surgical, Medical and Paediatrics.
Primary PurposeThe Registered Nurse strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
About the Role and TeamThe North West Regional Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or dual qualified Midwife to join the permanent pool.
This position allows you to gain experience and progress in roles working across various areas, treating a diverse range of patients in challenging and rewarding environments.
Working in the permanent pool provides you with the job security of a permanent position and the flexibility of not being limited to one area or type of nursing.

Details of AppointmentPermanent part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Salary PackagingYou'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
