The Role: We're on the hunt for a Registered Nurse at Amana Living. You will have a genuine passion for supporting older people and collaborating with the wider team is essential. As a clinical leader, you will leverage your clinical expertise to guide the team towards achieving outstanding care outcomes. Your alignment with the Quality of Care Principles will enable you to effectively support, educate, and mentor your team, ensuring high standards of care and continuous improvement.
This role is being offered as a part-time position within our Registered Nurse Permanent Pool, covering our various residential facilities SOR. The roster will cover hours from 3.00pm to 10:00pm, 70 hours a fortnight Monday-Friday.
Key responsibilities: Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessmentsSafely administer medication to residentsFalls management and preventionComplete documentation for residents ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documentsSupervise the delivery of care plans on a daily basisProviding ongoing coaching and mentoring to the care staffComply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with Aged Care Standards and Risk ManagementCurrent AHPRA RegistrationEvidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checksKnowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvementWillingness to attend 2 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training InstituteHow to apply If you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
