Brisbane Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our established Endoscopy team on a permanent full-time basis.
About us Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane's busiest medical precinct, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. We specialise in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
As a Registered Nurse your duties will include: Provide evidenced based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsMinimum Requirements: At least 1 years' experience as a Registered Nurse within a Hospital setting, ideally within PerioperativePrevious experience within the washroom and procedure roomCurrent Registration with AHPRACommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?
