A Fixed Term Temporary position as a Registered Nurse exists within the Palliative Care unit.
This position is part time until the end of June 2025 with a possible extension.
The Registered Nurse practices independently and interdependently whilst assuming responsibility for the delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and healthcare workers.
The Cancer Inpatient unit is an 11-bed inpatient unit which encompasses Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Haematology and specialist Palliative Care.
About the role:Practise independently and interdependently.
Assume accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses (EN's), Assistants in Nursing (AIN's) and healthcare workers.
Demonstrate evidence of increasing autonomy and exercise greater levels of professional judgement in the clinical environment as the employee moves from a beginning to experienced practitioner.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrates sound clinical evidence-based skill and knowledge in area of practice and setting.Demonstrated ability to adapt to change.Ability to employ negotiating skills to avoid conflict in the workplace to enhance cooperative workplace interactions.Demonstrates ability to communicate relevant, prompt and accurate information in all methods of communication.Committed to the delivery of high-quality care and service.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $8,498 p.m. is comprised of:
