Registered Nurse – Palliative CareSpecialist Palliative Care Service – Service Delivery Directorate About The Role An exciting opportunity exists to join a service promoting quality of life and dignity for those with a life limiting illness.
The District wide Specialist Palliative Care Service is a dedicated multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with a life limiting illness.
The service provides consultation services across a number of care settings including hospital, community and residential aged care facilities.
The service includes a team of specialist nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Dietitian and Palliative Care Doctors.
This team is supported by Clinical Nurse Consultants and Nurse Educator in Palliative Care.
This is currently a Monday to Friday service with a telephone support service, after hours and on weekends and works closely with other care providers and services to support clients, their families and carers.
This Registered Nurse position will provide this support in Dubbo, Wellington and communities to the north and west of Dubbo, both face to face and virtually.
