The Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with experience in an acute care setting to join our dynamic Recovery unit where teamwork is paramount. You will join a workforce of nursing professionals to care for patients after surgery.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To provide customer focused holistic nursing care Deliver evidence based nursing care Maintain effective communication within the multi-disciplinary team Ensure ongoing patient care and staff safety Engage in a positive team culture What you'll need to succeed Essential qualities: Current Registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse Minimum of 2 years' experience in Recovery nursing Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Intermediate computer skills Desirable qualities Post graduate certificate in Recovery or working towards Paediatric experience Why Healthscope? If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $37.38 - $49.79 per hour.
