About the Role
We're excited to invite Registered Nurses to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre Hobart, where you'll work across radiation and medical oncology/hematology departments.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering personalized, compassionate cancer care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert care in oncology nursing, following current legislation and professional standards.Monitor and administer medications, including IV anticancer infusions.Conduct patient assessments, manage side effects, and educate patients.Care for peripheral and central access devices.Assist with procedures and provide pre- and post-care guidance.Maintain accurate records and offer emotional support to patients and families.Contribute to a high-performance, patient-centric culture and support day-to-day operations.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Experience in medical oncology, hematology, and/or radiation oncology nursing (preferred).Current AHPRA registration.Commitment to patient-centred care with strong communication skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Covid-19 vaccination in line with ATAGI guidelines.
