Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Department of Health!
The Role: Accountable to and works under the general direction and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager/Team Leader and/or Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Consultant/Clinical Nurse Specialist.Champion a child safe culture that upholds the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.Where applicable, exercise delegations in accordance with a range of Acts, Regulations, Awards, and administrative authorities.Comply with policy and protocol requirements, including those relating to mandatory education, training, and assessment.You will need: Current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of patient/client care.Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills.Knowledge of continuous quality improvement and the application of evidence-based practice.Ability to undertake patient/client education and participate in ongoing professional development.The Team: Join a unique and diverse nurse-led team. The Mother Baby Unit (MBU) delivers multidisciplinary inpatient care for consumers with perinatal mental illness.
Details of appointment: Multiple fixed term, part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately two (2) years.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Includes 11.5% superannuation contribution.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.You'll have access to salary package benefits including living expenses and meal entertainment.
