Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, Mental Health Inpatient Services, Whyalla Salary: $72,651 - $99,129 p.a (pro rata) - RN/M1 Temporary Part Time (up to 14 November 2024) - 0.53 FTE The Role As a Registered Nurse (RN) within our multi-disciplinary Mental Health (MH) service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented services tailored to the needs of consumers and the local community. Your expertise will be vital in providing integrated mental health care across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings, utilizing preventive measures, early interventions, therapeutic methods, and evaluation techniques.
Your role will encompass individual and family therapies, group programs, health promotion, and community development projects. You will continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through professional development and hands-on experience, evolving from a novice to a proficient practitioner.

Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Must be enrolled and/or willing to enrol in further postgraduate studies within Mental Health practice.

This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
