Registered Nurse - Mental Health Experience Gold Coast South/Tweed Heads At Right at Home we are dedicated to providing compassionate and client-focused community-based care to individuals in the Gold Coast South and Tweed Heads areas.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Female Registered Nurse with expertise in mental health trauma-informed care and PTSD.
In this role, you will provide individualised support to clients in their homes, delivering care that is sensitive to their unique needs and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed mental health support to clients in their homes.
Implement personalised care plans focused on managing symptoms of PTSD and other mental health conditions.
Monitor and record ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health and well-being.
Follow all recommendations as a part of a behaviour support plan.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective care.
Participate in education about mental health, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of care provided and progress made.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to mental health care and community support.
Requirements:
A valid Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration.
Proven experience in mental health support (required), with a focus on trauma-informed care and PTSD (preferred).
Strong understanding of mental health conditions and an ability to implement de-escalation interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home care setting.
A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
Current National Police Check.
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for travel within the Gold Coast South and Tweed Heads areas.
