About your opportunity: Permanent full-time and part-time opportunities available for Registered Nurses to join the team within Medical Ward 5 at Townsville University Hospital. The Registered Nurse position will provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Medical Ward Five Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care. Medical Ward Five is a secure facility located on the ground floor of the ward block specifically designed to care for patients with delirium and dementia. What's on offer:Generous remuneration package value up to $121,464 p.a. comprising:Salary range of $3171.90 to $4068.50 p.f. or $41.73 to $53.53 p.h. Role Requirements:Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Candidates with prior experience in Dementia and Delirium care is preferred, however not essential.Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
