Description:Mackay Base Hospital requires Registered Nurses for their Medical ward!
The G2 Ward is a 28-bed adult medical unit which has the capacity to expand to 30 beds if required.
The unit provides multi-disciplinary assessment, management, and care to general medical patients inclusive of Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine.
Start Dates:23.12.24 - 30.03.2506.01.25 - 30.03.2513.01.25 - 30.03.25Mandatory Experience:A minimum of 2 years' Medical experienceGood computer literacy skillsMandatory Competencies:BLS competencyManual and patient handlingInfection controlAggressive behaviour managementMandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglectMedications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012*Additional competencies may be requested by the health service*
