Alcohol and Drug Services provides information, advice, referral, intake, assessment, and support for ACT residents struggling with substance use issues. We offer services for individuals, their family and friends, general practitioners, other health professionals, and business and community groups.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse role at this level is responsible for the provision of sound clinical services and interventions to clients of Alcohol and Drug Services.
Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to: Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
