This role involves providing comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to patients diagnosed with Neuromuscular or Neuroimmunological conditions (including Multiple Sclerosis), as well as support to their families. The Neuromuscular Neuroimmunology Nurse supports medical staff in providing such care, working alongside the neurology consultant and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) nurse in outpatient clinics. Responsibilities include organizing specialist treatments, maintaining databases, coordinating multidisciplinary follow-ups, and participating in research where appropriate.
Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to: Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.Note: This is a temporary position available for six months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Part-time hours will be considered.
