About you:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Calvary Clinic is a 13 bed Mental Health Facility admitting voluntary patients via Referral process. This position is for an energetic and enthusiastic Registered Nurse who has mental health qualifications or is working towards. The role is part time, 0.6 shifts per fortnight, Level 2 position. The role will include shift work, giving support to and relief for NUM when on Leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care utilising skills, education and support to patients and nursing staff to ensure best practice and quality patient care
Provide education and support to patients and nursing staff within the unit
Work within the Hospital Policy and Procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary team
Maintain professional standards and promote team environment
Demonstrate commitment to professional development
What you bring:
The ability to do rotational unit roster
AHPRA Registration
Provide relief for NUM role when on leave
Leadership and organisational skills
Demonstrated empathy and respect for patients in care
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
