The Gastroenterology & Hepatology Unit (GEHU) consists of an endoscopy unit and outpatient clinics. The GEHU provides a range of gastroenterological interventional and diagnostic services including, but not limited to, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatogram, endoscopic ultrasounds, and an Anorectal manometry service. The outpatient clinics include the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) service, liver disease service, National Bowel Cancer Screening program.
The Level 2 Registered Nurse will provide advanced nursing care consistently and competently to patients of varying complexity, including acting as a role model and a core clinical resource person in endoscopy nursing.
