The Role The role of the Registered Nurse is to provide comprehensive nursing care and support to clients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
This is a part time position working 31 hours per fortnight during the following overnight shifts:
Week 1: Monday: 11:00pm – 7:15am Week 2: Monday: 11:00pm – 7:15am Tuesday: 11:00pm – 7:15am Key responsibilities: Uses multiple approaches to decision making (scope of nursing practice decision making framework)Manages the care of older persons in a person-centred approachAdvocates and protects the rights of older personsEngages in collaborative practice to achieve positive outcomes for older personsAttracts, develops, and retains talented individuals, creating a learning environment that ensures employees realize their highest potential, allowing the organization to meet future challenges.Engages in activities to improve gerontological nursing practiceDemonstrates regulatory compliance in accreditation and continuous improvementAttends and actively participates in compulsory training sessions and meetingsAbout you As a Registered Nurse, you will foster meaningful, positive relationships with our residents while using your expertise to guide the team towards excellent care outcomes, aligned with Quality-of-Care Principles.
Your strong communication skills and passion for supporting, educating, and mentoring staff will be essential in this role.
