Our purpose is `great care every day'. About your opportunity: Permanent full-time / Location: Palm Island The purpose of this position is to provide high quality, evidence-based nursing care to the people of Palm Island. This will include working in all areas of emergency and inpatient services.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care. Knowledge of legal and professional responsibilities. Build and maintain effective relationships with the multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks. High standard of written and oral communication skills within the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families. Use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position. Provide clinical education and support and demonstrate own ongoing professional development. Competency as outlined in the NMBA - Registered nurse standards for practice ( ) . What the Townsville Hopsital and Health Service has to offer: Generous remuneration package value up to $121,464 p.a. comprising: Salary range of $3171.90 to $4068.50 p.f. (Nurse Grade 5) Annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Relocation Incentives On-site single accommodation will be provided to the successful applicant. Rural and Remote Incentive Package - successful applicants may be eligible for RANIP.
