We look after pre and post operative cardiac surgical patients as well as cardiac medical patients.Procedures managed on the ward include: Pre and postoperative coronary angiograms +/- stents, PPM's, ICD's, EPS +/- ablations, PVI.
Structural heart procedures- TAVI, LAAO, PFO & ASD closures, Mitra clips.
CABG, Valve replacements, PEARS procedures, VATS +/- anatomical resections, pleurodesis, biopsies.As the unit continues to expand and thrive, we are looking for experienced RN's to join the team.About YouCurrent registration with the AHPRAMinimum 2 years recent cardiothoracic/Cardiology/CCU/critical care experienceAbility to interpret complex ECG's and escalate care needs of the individual appropriately.Established experience in UWSD, Management and removal of Pacing wires, UWSD and arterial lines.Post graduate qualifications in Critical Care (cardiology)/(Cardiothoracic) or working towardsRemuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
