About the Role We are an expanding 24 bed unit who care for patients with varying complexities and dynamic cardiology and cardiothoracic care needs.
We look after pre and post operative cardiac surgical patients as well as cardiac medical patients. Procedures managed on the ward include: Pre and postoperative coronary angiograms +/- stents, PPM's, ICD's, EPS +/- ablations, PVI.
Structural heart procedures- TAVI, LAAO, PFO & ASD closures, Mitra clips.
CABG, Valve replacements, PEARS procedures, VATS +/- anatomical resections, pleurodesis, biopsies.
As the unit continues to expand and thrive, we are looking for experienced RN's to join the team. About You Current registration with the AHPRA Minimum 2 years recent cardiothoracic/Cardiology/CCU/critical care experience Ability to interpret complex ECG's and escalate care needs of the individual appropriately. Established experience in UWSD, Management and removal of Pacing wires, UWSD and arterial lines. Post graduate qualifications in Critical Care (cardiology)/(Cardiothoracic) or working towards Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
