A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop, and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the Resident preference and best practice by:
Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.Anticipating Residents' changing health needs and initiating further assessments or referrals.Supporting Residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.You will be responsible for compliance:
Ensuring all care documentation is completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.Your role within the team would involve:
Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.We need you to possess the following accreditation, skills, and working rights:
A current AHPRA registration and Bachelor degree as a Registered Nurse.At least two years experience as a Registered Nurse.Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.Aegis will provide:
