Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse at Tamworth General Practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to our diverse patient population. Your responsibilities will encompass but not be limited to:

Conducting patient assessments, creating care plans, and health screenings with focus on GPMP, TCA, 715, and 75+ health assessments.
Administering medications and vaccinations.
Performing chronic disease management, including monitoring patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions.
Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting GPs and collaborating with administration and management to ensure efficient clinic operations and delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with AHPRA.
Experience as a Practice Nurse, preferably in a primary care or general practice setting (not essential).
Experience in general practice and with Best Practice software is an advantage (not essential).
Understanding of Medicare billing processes and experience in care plan reviews and health assessments.
