If you have the passion to support people to live independently and improve their quality of life in the place they call home, this could be the perfect job for you!About the roleAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality clinical care that supports our customers in Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas (Gundagai, Albury) to remain living well at home.
You'll develop genuine connections with our customers and their loved ones and assist them to optimise their health and wellbeing and support their independence.This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday.
You will be operating independently in the community, travelling to visit clients regularly and for emergency situations.
You will also have flexibility and autonomy, working from the local office in Wagga Wagga and your home office.What do we need from you?You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills, and have an empathetic, patient, and caring nature.
This role does require you to have an unrestricted Australian driver's licence and own a reliable motor vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance as you need to travel to our clients' homes.Registered Nursing qualifications with current AHPRA registrationMinimum 12 months clinical experience in acute or aged care sectorExceptional communication skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situationsProven experience working with budget and service delivery parametersDemonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelinesDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamIntermediate level of computer skillsAbout UsBaptistCare is a leading for-purpose Christian-based care organisation that supports thousands of people across more than 100 locations in NSW, ACT and WA.
