The position of Mental Health Worker in the Community Mental Health Team is to provide a high standard of mental health practice and interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
The primary responsibility of the Mental Health Worker is to provide support to individuals with multiple complex needs including mental illness, drug and alcohol issues and homelessness.
The role also includes working with the individual consumer, their family and carers, and their support network in the community in a recovery framework.
