Role Overview: As a Registered Nurse at Ceduna District Health Services, you will:
Provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services by assessing individual patient/client needs and coordinating appropriate care. Implement and manage care plans, collaborating with other disciplines or agencies as needed. Deliver evidence-based care across a 24/7, 7-day roster, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to professional standards. Develop your clinical skills and stay current with professional practices and quality management initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate patient/client needs to deliver personalised and effective care. Plan, implement, and coordinate care delivery from a range of options, working with multidisciplinary teams as required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of professional standards and quality management practices. Provide compassionate and evidence-based care in accordance with organisational policies. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, working effectively within a 24/7 roster system. What We're Looking For: You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. Demonstrating sound knowledge and an understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse within a health care setting, you will bring the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a health care setting, displaying a commitment to providing consumer and family-centred care. Strong communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Experience in the use of computer packages eg Microsoft, Excel.
