It is a 64-bed facility that provides emergency, surgical and general medical care to the area's growing population.
They have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse to join their team, working within our Surgical & Medical wards, each containing 16 beds.
About the role: As a Registered Nurse you will coordinate and deliver high quality person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD).
In this role as a Registered Nurse you will work with members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal care for patients whilst in an Inpatient setting.
The successful applicant will have ongoing training/education and support provided by Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Clinical Nurse Educator and colleagues within a close team environment.Requirements: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Additional Information: An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
This position is full time; however, job share and/or part time arrangements will be considered.
To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
