Base salary ranges between $82,753 and $106,144 p.a. Julia Creek Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPHS) is a 6 bed in-patient facility which provides primary and secondary services inclusive of emergency, ambulatory, low acuity and residential aged care services. Service is delivered by registered nurses and general practitioners. Patients that are requiring a higher level of care can be managed for short periods of time before a transfer to a higher-level service. Julia Creek MPHS works in close partnership with the McKinlay Shire Council to deliver not only health services within the hospital but community services as well.
About The Role The Registered Nurse in Julia Creek MPHS delivers safe compassionate clinical care; working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.Appointees will also be required to participate in an on-call roster.The position may involve travel to various facilities or units within the North West Hospital and Health Service.C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.A period of probation may apply.Interested?
