We currently have 3.8 FTE at Laverton Hospital available to fill on a Permanent Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time basis. Part-Time hours are subject to the operational requirements of the role and are to be negotiated with the manager. Nestled in the far Northern Goldfields of Western Australia, Laverton is a small town with many hidden surprises. You can reach Laverton in just under five hours from Kalgoorlie, or 12 hours from Perth. Alternatively, you can make it a journey of discovery by following the Golden Quest Discovery Trail, stopping at 25 interpretive sites as you travel through Kalgoorlie, Boulder and Coolgardie. Covering some 183,198km2 of predominantly desert and pastoral country, Laverton has something for everyone, from spinifex plains, mulga woodlands and unique granite rock outcrops to rich Aboriginal and European history and culture. About You The successful applicant will have: Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate patient care within emergency dept and ward based settings. Ability to problem solve and accept responsibility for own practice. Understanding and respect for the needs of Aboriginal culture in providing effective health service delivery to Aboriginal people.
