Part time role - night duty only 56-64 hours per fortnight 30 bed Orthopaedic + Spine and Neurosurgical Ward RN Grade 1, $41.49 - $52.97/hr plus super Subsidised meals and parking Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?
About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Orthopaedic + Spine and Neurosurgical ward on a part time basis. This is a night shift duty role, commencing shifts at 10:30 PM - 7:15 AM with flexible days across Monday-Sunday. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established surgical nursing team.
Your duties will include: Provide evidenced based nursing care to patients undergoing our Orthopaedic and other surgical procedures Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs Essential Criteria: Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting Experience in a post-surgical ward ideal but not mandatory Current Registration with AHPRA Commitment to Quality Patient Care Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Why Healthscope?
