Work as part of a well-supported team that cares for all patient complexities Relocation Assistance / sign on bonus negotiable Full time part-time and casual positions available Darwin Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include: · Provide evidenced based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient centred care 
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. Our world-class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote aboriginal communities and even offshore. We are co-located with Royal Darwin Hospital and partner in delivering specialised care to patients from across the top end of Australia.
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Working with Children check 
· Specialty nursing experience (desired)
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
· Basic computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and the Darwin Private Hospital - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2021-2024 ($37.79 - $50.97 per hour)
