Your Opportunity: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within the Intensive Care Unit, supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.What we're looking for: Demonstrated beginning to comprehensive knowledge of contemporary nursing practice within an Intensive Care Unit and the ability to apply sound professional judgement to appropriately manage patient-centred care requirements.Demonstrated self-management and self-organisational skills, including problem-solving skills and professional engagement in change management to achieve organisational goals.Maintains a professional development profile and facilitates an environment that encourages lifelong learning, mentoring and support for colleagues.Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively across the health continuum supporting positive organisational behaviours and relationships.Demonstrated beginning to comprehensive knowledge of information management tools including demonstrated ability to use patient and staff information systems appropriate to the position.Commitment to quality and safety processes, and evidence-informed practices.Preferred Qualifications: Mandatory possession of a nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.2 years' experience in Acute Care is highly desirable.Why join us? You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $121,107 p.a., comprising salary between $82,753 - $106,144 p.a. (f/t) or salary between $41.74 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Several Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
