Nursing – General Medical & Surgical (Healthcare & Medical) Full time $98,000 – $109,000 About us The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service which has been caring for the Broome community for more than 45 years.
When we first opened our doors in 1978, BRAMS was the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia.
We deliver comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to more than 6500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Broome region.

This is an exciting opportunity for aRegistered Nurseto join our dynamic team.
Working in a multidisciplinary community health setting, you will deliver care across a variety of specialty areas, including:
Chronic disease managementAged care and NDISPrimary health care and child healthYour role will involve providing person-centred, culturally safe care that improves health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
You'll also have the chance to educate and support non-clinical staff, contribute to BRAMS' Model of Care, and help uphold our Quality Care Framework.
About you
We are seeking a generalist nurse with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates with experience in aged care, chronic disease management, or Aboriginal health will be highly regarded.
To be successful, you'll need:
AHPRA registration as a Health ProfessionalA current Australian Driver's LicenceQualifications in Public Health or Chronic Disease Management (desirable)A commitment to working within BRAMS' Quality Care FrameworkStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsA collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teamsWhy join us?
