As a Registered Nurse at Achieve Australia, your primary goal is to provide person-centred quality clinical services to people with a disability. You will monitor and review health care plans and focus on clinical and health management.

Role Responsibilities:As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver quality clinical services to Achieve Australia clients including delivering complex health care procedures, developing, monitoring, and reviewing health care plans, and clinical practice leadership with practical on-the-job supervision and education of nursing staff across a number of assigned sites. Your duties will include:
Ensuring services are in line with current support service philosophy which promotes improvement in quality of life and fosters independence for people with a disability who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs.Assisting in the coordination of individuals' lifestyles and of clinical services within resources, policies, and guidelines.Ensuring that day-to-day administrative processes are operating effectively and provide effective feedback to the Nursing Manager on service provision.Coordinating and reviewing person-centred support services that are consistent with individual/lifestyle plans; monitor and coach nursing staff with the implementation of plans' goals, expected service standards and associated complexities of the people being supported.Providing staff with feedback, advice, coaching, training and support and agree on actions to improve performance, to enable them to maximise performance and meet budget targets.Building work relationships with local community partnerships (including families and carers) and with other stakeholders both within and external to Achieve Australia.Promoting a commitment to employment equity and diversity, workplace health and safety (WHS), risk management and ethical practices.Supporting the systematic approach to implementation of new/revised policy and process through staff briefings, training, monitoring, process and protocol development, records management and stakeholder communication.To be successful in this role, you will need:Tertiary qualifications or equivalent including holding a current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Ability to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles (automatic gearbox) across the region. Candidates without a current driver's licence are subject to a risk assessment.Current First Aid CertificateCurrent NDIS and WWCC certificatesAwareness of human rights and challenges facing individuals with disabilities.Experience in working with and supporting adults and/or children with complex disability.Achieve Australia has been supporting people with disability for 70 years.
