Bendigo Primary Care Centre (BPCC) is a Not for Profit Centre of Excellence, that provides best practice and multi-professional primary care services to the population of Greater Bendigo.
As well as a modern, well equipped health facility, BPCC provides a collegiate environment with great teaching and learning opportunities, including weekly in house professional development sessions.
Our busy GP Super-Clinic is looking for dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurses (Div 1 or 2) to join our Nursing team.
We are looking for nurses that are passionate about health promotion, disease prevention and management and are able to provide patient focused clinical support to our Doctors, across all aspects of general practice.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Chronic Disease Management PlansHealth AssessmentsChildhood and Adult ImmunisationsAssisting with minor procedures including skin excisions and Implanon insertion/removalIron or Aclasta infusionsPatient triage and emergency careCold chain managementMaintaining recall & results systemsMedical Supply OrderingMaintaining Infection control standardsCurrent, unrestricted registration with AHPRAWorking with Children's Check and Current Police checkFully immunisedExperience in General PracticeExperience with Best Practice softwareKnowledge of relevant MBS itemsSalary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Nurses Award 2020.
