About the role:
Wellness Here for Life utilises the clinical capabilities and experience of nurses nationwide to provide affordable, convenient healthcare.
Spanning metropolitan, regional and remote hospitals, pharmacies and homes, Wellness clinics are designed to deliver end-to-end support for patients.
We are looking for an AHPRA Registered Nurse to provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and their carers.
Reporting to the Collaborating Medical Practitioner, the NP will liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders including a Clinical Governance Committee, Territory and Sales Managers, Senior Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacy/ Facility/ Hospital staff, GP's and other allied health professionals.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide expert care to patients and their families in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation, including:
Conducting thorough patient assessments and diagnosesProviding telehealth consults to patientsReferring patients to appropriate health professionalsManaging patient care upon referral from other health professionalsParticipating in peer and case review procedures as guided by the Professional Services Operations Manager, Senior Nurse Practitioner, or Collaborating Medical PractitionerContributing to clinic workforce development programsFollow clinic procedures and policiesComplete accurate documentationUnderstand clinic equipment usage per manufacturer instructionsEnsure patient information security at all timesApply "Quality Use of Medicines" for patient well-beingSkills & Experience: Compliance with relevant Federal/State legislation, DoH and Clinic policies, and local procedures related to the delivery of health services and the prescribing of scheduled medicinesHold current Immunisation Certification as per your relevant State/Territory requirementsCurrent AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse endorsementComplete CPR and Anaphylaxis training annuallyMust be living in Hobart areaBenefits & perks:
