Nursing - High Acuity (Healthcare & Medical)
Registered Nurse - Haemodialysis Up to 24 hours per fortnight
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
The Haemodialysis Unit is a three-bed unit catering to clients who need treatment for end-stage renal failure.
The Unit is a satellite unit for Barwon Health and currently operates 6 days per week, the staff within the unit operate autonomously.
What's required?Current AHPRA Registered Nurse Registration.Current nursing experience in relevant clinical area.Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience including management experience.Computer literacy particularly in Microsoft office software.Ability to organise work in a systematic way, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment.Professional, friendly and a team player disposition who is capable of representing the department and organisation effectively.Demonstrated skills in teamwork.Demonstrated ability to manage emergency situations.IV cannulation.Current competency in defibrillation or ALS equivalent.Tertiary qualifications or working toward same.Diversity and Inclusion We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion.
