We are looking for someone to cover maternity leave from Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm, who is dedicated to providing the best care to our much-loved residents at our Oak Towers Aged Care Service.
Throughout your varied day, you will have the opportunity to assist residents with services that enrich their daily living. Along with your passion for the elderly, you will ensure that care plan requirements are thoroughly and lovingly undertaken for each resident.

As a Registered Nurse, you will: Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings of individual client needs;Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with clients, their representatives, and other members of the care team;Maintain client documentation in accordance with electronic documentation and organizational and legislative requirements;Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers;Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and interventions;Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and monitor bespoke care plans;Educate families about health conditions and medications;Provide guidance and support to our team of dedicated care workers.About you You have a natural empathy for the elderly and are drawn to this line of work. With the ability to prioritise and manage workloads according to residents' needs, you are also able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplined work team.

Your experience, qualifications, and availability for the role should include:
Available Monday to Friday from 7am – 3pm, covering maternity leave, 30 - 75 hours per fortnight.Current registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Possess a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.12 months relevant experience in aged care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.A National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, or ability to acquire.Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
