Permanent Night Duty Grade 5 - in charge role
12 month fixed term contract maternity leave cover - Grade 5 In Charge weekdays and weekends.
If you are an experienced confident leader and would like to join the team in North Geelong, you will play a pivotal part in providing exceptional aged care to our residents, with a focus on leading and supervising the care team.
What you'll be doing Leading and supervising the care team, including delegating tasks, providing support and guidance, and monitoring performance Providing direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, wound care, and other clinical interventions Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Fostering a positive and supportive work environment for the nursing team What we're looking for Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in aged care Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals Strong clinical skills and knowledge, including medication management, wound care, and other nursing interventions Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and promoting the wellbeing of our residents We offer Competitive remuneration and career advancement opportunities Salary packaging to increase your tax free earnings - up to $18,550 per annum Active social club across 400 employees Discounted meals available About us Cultura's purpose is to provide innovative services to support, care for and celebrate culturally diverse individuals through their life journey.
