As a Level 6 service, they manage the most complex and highly specialised surgical procedures and complications. Competitive salary dependent on experience + 11% superannuationSupportive and dynamic team environmentPermanent positions and 6 month fixed-term contracts availableAccommodation options can be negotiated for permanent rolesFixed-term contracts include accommodationOpportunities for professional development and growthFlexible working arrangements to support work-life balanceASAP start - when are you ready?Located in HobartKey ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing general and vascular surgeries, including colorectal, breast, endocrine, and gynaecological surgeries.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage diseases of the venous, lymphatic, and arterial systems through medical management, interventional radiology, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, and open surgeries.Support patients with minor and major amputations, ensuring comprehensive care and rehabilitation.Work closely with the Stomal Therapy Department to deliver care management, post-operative review, education, and discharge planning for patients with new and complex stomas and fistulas.Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.Contribute to a positive and supportive ward environment, fostering teamwork and professional development.Selection CriteriaCurrent registration with AHPRA, with no restrictionsNational Crime Check within the past 12 monthsExperience in general and/or vascular surgery nursing is highly desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesMust have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).How to Apply: Please click 'Apply Now'.
