We have an exciting newly created role available for a pro-active, passionate REGISTERED NURSE to join our ENGAGEMENT TEAM. This position will be based in our Moonah office in Tasmania working within a NDIS quality framework.
Reporting directly to the Engagement Team Leader, the REGISTERED NURSE will work with a variety of participants providing clinical and/or psychological support when required. The role will also include administrative functions such as filing and logging patient forms and documents for MORE OPPORTUNITIES. Working as part of a dynamic, supportive team, the role of REGISTERED NURSE will be responsible for:
Providing direct in-home care to participants Collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation The ability to communicate effectively with participants, internal/external stakeholders, and Allied Health providers. Monitoring and recording participants' conditions and documenting provided care services. Attending to and treating medical emergencies when required. Following state and federal legislation, regulations, and standards. Promoting and demonstrating health education and training to support staff members. Experience within an administration environment Providing health care treatments, therapies, and health monitoring. To be considered for the role of REGISTERED NURSE , you will need:
Bachelor of Nursing Current AHPRA Registration. A proven record working with patients/persons in care. Experience within the nursing industry, evidence of involvement in clinical supervision and professional development as required by the appropriate professional body. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands. Knowledge of how the NDIS and the community sector will be highly regarded.
