We have an opportunity for an Experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Thornlands Doctors .
We require an individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude towards all tasks, ability to work autonomously at a fast pace as well as in a team. The practice is located in the beautiful new Paradise Gardens shopping complex in Thornlands, all new premises. 5 minutes from Cleveland, Victoria Point & Sheldon.
The chosen candidate will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients, through:
Immunisations and other injections, Triage Wound management, Chronic disease management, ECGs Explaining procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassurance. Assisting with care plans and shared health summaries Assisting with telehealth consultations. Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentation. Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments, and equipment Implementing and practicing infection control Assisting with Reception and Practice Management duties. Able to start IMMEDIATELY Available to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, from 8:15am to 5.00pm Must be able to cover staff leave / sickness on a Thursday & Friday 1 year GP experience preferred. Current AHPRA registration Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Working experience in an accredited General Practice environment A caring and collaborative approach to patient care A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills Use of Best Practice programs preferred Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments In addition, the candidate must also provide the following:
