Are you an experienced Registered Practice Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or a New Graduate with a clinical background in Primary Healthcare?
DNA Nursing is working with an established primary healthcare provider in the Central Coast, NSW who is seeking a team player with strong critical thinking skills who can work both independently in clinic and operate collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement nursing interventions, focusing on quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
Perform Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, and Team Care Arrangements.
Manage cold chain processes.
Assist with NIP Immunisation programs.
Support minor and major surgical procedures, including sutures removal and wound care.
Assist with Iron Infusions.
Deliver high-quality patient care in a Primary Health Care Setting.
Provide healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
Requirements:
Current authority to practice as an EN/EEN/RN with AHPRA
Previous experience in Primary Health Care or a willingness to learn.
Current CPR or ALS certificate.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Strong critical thinking abilities.
Nurse Immunisation Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza Immunisations.
