About the role: Are you an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the community while enjoying a healthy work-life balance? Kin Care has the perfect opportunity for you! As a Kin Care community nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing essential care to our elderly customers across the Central Coast, within the comfort of their own homes.
In this casual (2 days per week) position, you will provide a range of clinical support services, such as medication administration, wound care, observations, catheter management, stoma care and PEG feeding.
You'll also conduct a variety of comprehensive assessments, including evaluations of cognitive function and continence, while supporting care plans and providing solutions tailored to each customer's individual needs.
Working closely with families, General Practitioners, and the Kin Care team, you'll ensure a holistic approach to our customers' well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
About you: Full AHPRA registration Available minimum 2 days per week(preferably Tuesday & Wednesday) First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain) Driver's licence with a reliable and insured vehicle Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly - (experience in Community nursing would be ideal) Strong clinical skills Ability to work autonomously Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Double COVID vaccinated and willing to undergo a functional assessment.
